About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our client, a leading HVAC company based in the M3/M4 North area. As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems to a high standard
  • Conduct thorough fault finding and diagnostic checks to identify and resolve issues
  • Work with a range of HVAC equipment, including VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance schedules
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (not essential)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas) certification
  • Full driving license
  • Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
What We Offer
  • Basic salary up to £45,000 DOE
  • Company van with optional personal use
  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x
  • 40-hour working week with travel paid after 30 minutes each way
  • On-call allowance (1 in 4/5) with guaranteed £1,200
  • Pension scheme
  • 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years
