Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Imaging Services team as a Support Assistant. This role involves a variety of non-clinical and clinical responsibilities aimed at enhancing the patient experience within our diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both the Radiology Clinical and Administrative Teams, as well as liaising with ward personnel to ensure a seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The chosen candidate will play a vital role in our dynamic Imaging Services team, providing essential support to the department. Responsibilities will encompass working alongside various imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, and Ultrasound, across multiple facilities. Key duties include:
- Delivering general patient care and assistance.
- Accurately entering patient information into the Radiology IT system.
- Supporting the imaging process in community hospitals and health centres.
Previous experience in similar roles is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure proficiency in all aspects of the position.
Flexibility is crucial, as the role may require working extended hours, including weekends and evenings, and traveling between various community sites.

Job Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 2 GCSEs, including English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 2 qualification.
