Job Summary

Roke is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting operational systems for our National Security customers.

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline our testing process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies to ensure our systems remain secure and efficient.

Requirements

  • Experience with automated test engineering and continuous integration systems.
  • Knowledge of TDD/BDD and testing at various levels, from unit to system testing.
  • Experience with scripting and deployment using Linux and Docker containers.
  • Experience with modern development languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Clearance

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 10 years.
