Associate IT Architect

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate IT Architect to join our team at Legal & General. As an Associate IT Architect, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our IT architecture practice, working closely with our business stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design - Design and develop simple to moderately complex IT solutions, applying basic design patterns and principles.
- Assurance - Ensure that IT solutions meet our business requirements and are aligned with our architecture principles.
- Documentation and Record Keeping - Produce high-quality architecture artefacts, including design documents and technical specifications.
- Solutions Delivery - Collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts to deliver IT solutions that meet our business needs.
- Architecture Process and Services - Provide guidance and support to our business stakeholders on architecture processes and services.
- Improving the Discipline - Contribute to the improvement of our architecture discipline, including the development of new tools and processes.
Requirements
- Qualifications - A degree in a technical field, such as computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience - Proven experience in IT architecture, with a strong understanding of architecture principles and design patterns.
- Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
