Secondary Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking Secondary School in Southwark. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of 11-18 year old students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, working closely with teachers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support students.
  • Guide, motivate, and empower students to reach their full potential and prepare them for post-school life.
Requirements:
  • First-Class or 2:1 Degree from a leading UK University.
  • Ideal for aspiring Secondary Teachers who are passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact.
  • Possess a strong set of GCSE and A-Level results.
  • A true desire and passion for supporting children and making a difference in their lives.
