This reputable family-owned business has been providing third-party Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services across the UK and internationally for over 40 years. They specialize in inspection across four main areas: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Positive Material Identification (PMI). With a dedicated team of 16, they are looking to expand following a colleague's departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a balanced 80/20 split between site visits and office-based responsibilities.
  • Utilize a company vehicle and fuel card to cover the Yorkshire region.
  • Conduct Non-Destructive Testing at client locations using various methods, including Ultrasound, Magnetic Fields, Fluorescent Testing, and X-ray.
  • Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM, with an early finish at 12:30 PM on Fridays.

Candidate Profile:

  • Quality Control Technician or equivalent experience.
  • Background in Non-Destructive Testing.
  • PCN Level 2 certification in UT, MPI, PT, or PMI.
  • Must possess a full driving license.
  • Based in the Yorkshire region.

This position is ideal for individuals with a PCN Level 2 in NDT, specializing in UT, MPI, PT, or PMI, who are looking for a role that offers autonomy within a supportive team environment.
