Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop solutions as scalable products that adapt to evolving business needs, aligning with contemporary software engineering methodologies and automated deployment tools. This encompasses the identification and application of suitable technologies and platforms.
- Conduct targeted design initiatives that utilize optimal workload distribution strategies, maximizing the advantages of cloud functionalities such as elasticity, serverless computing, and containerization.
- Implement best practice designs that integrate security principles (including layered security and minimizing risk exposure) to meet the organization's resilience standards.
- Deliver solutions that effectively balance risks and controls to achieve the desired business and technological outcomes.
- Promote the use of standardized solutions where applicable, and contribute to their ongoing refinement when necessary.
- Provide troubleshooting and performance support to operational teams, utilizing available tools.
- Assess the impact of solution designs concerning risk, capacity, and cost implications, including project change estimates and ongoing operational expenses.
- Generate necessary architectural documentation to comply with governance protocols, including design artifacts required for architecture, privacy, security, and records management governance.
- Provide strategic advice to key stakeholders, including functional leadership and senior management, regarding functional and cross-functional impacts and alignments.
- Identify and mitigate risks through thorough assessments, supporting the control and governance framework.
