About the Company:

Deverellsmith is a leading residential property management firm based in London, renowned for managing premium properties across the city. We are looking for a driven and dynamic Maintenance Manager to join our team and oversee the maintenance operations across a portfolio of residential properties.

The Role:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple maintenance projects simultaneously across the property portfolio, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion. You will work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to address any maintenance issues swiftly and confidently.

  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple maintenance projects concurrently, ensuring projects stay on track and are completed to a high standard within budget and deadlines.
  • Contractor Management: Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure work is carried out to specification and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Reporting & Oversight: Track and report project progress at a granular level, ensuring senior management is informed of all ongoing work.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement maintenance strategies that reduce costs and improve efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Compliance: Ensure all properties meet relevant health, safety, and building compliance standards.

About You:

  • Property Management Experience: You must come from a property management background, with experience managing the maintenance of residential portfolios.
  • Excellent Communicator: You can liaise effectively with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and can manage multiple projects with precision.
  • Organised and Efficient: You are highly organised, able to juggle competing priorities, and keep track of multiple projects across a portfolio.
