Transport Planning Specialist
Calor Gas is seeking a skilled Transport Planning Specialist to contribute to our dynamic team. This role will involve close collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective communication between customer service and distribution teams, ensuring timely updates and information sharing.
- Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage unexpected changes while consistently meeting customer expectations.
- Provide regular reports on distribution progress to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and operational efficiency.
- Enhance customer data accuracy and driver debriefs, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of delivery operations.
- Make informed decisions to optimize schedules and order fulfillment processes, maximizing resource utilization and minimizing delays.
- Actively contribute to driver safety measures and route planning strategies, ensuring safe and efficient transportation operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the logistics, transportation, or distribution industry.
- Proficiency in utilizing SAP and Paragon software systems for operational management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Strong IT skills and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
- Collaborative and influential communication style to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
