Job Title: Auditor - Hybrid Working

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our team in a hybrid working arrangement. As an Auditor, you will be responsible for providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing and well-respected audit partnership in Southwest London. You will be part of a dynamic team that leverages insights and analysis to drive sustainable practices and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and reviews to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Identify and report on areas for improvement and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to promote the profile of Internal Audit and share best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in internal audit or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Understanding of risks and controls associated with local authority operations.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond effectively to changing organisational needs.
