We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that all areas of the hospital are clean and tidy, including patient rooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team.
• Collaborating with the facilities team to ensure that the hospital is maintained to a high standard.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
