Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Waste Collection Driver to join our team at IMH Recruitment. As a Waste Collection Driver, you will be responsible for operating a waste collection vehicle and ensuring the safe collection of bins along your route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a waste collection vehicle and manage daily tasks
  • Supervise waste crews and ensure the completion of all daily tasks
  • Ensure the safety of employees, colleagues, and members of the public
  • Understand and operate mechanical machinery to facilitate emptying of refuse containers
  • Be responsible for the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
Requirements
  • Experience driving C1 Waste Collection vehicle
  • Experience working as a Team leader, Foreman, or equivalent in a team environment
  • 3 years of driving experience (preferred)
  • 2 years of waste management experience (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Category C1 Licence (preferred)
Working Hours and Pay

37 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, £13.69-£15.34 per hour
