We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team at Contract Scotland. This role is pivotal in supporting a significant infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing renewable energy capabilities.
This multi-billion-pound endeavor is designed to increase Scotland's renewable energy output and supply sustainable energy to millions of households across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on the implementation and upkeep of project-specific Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
- Evaluate Project Execution Plans to ensure adherence to environmental standards.
- Offer mentorship and training to environmental personnel on-site.
- Assist in the investigation of environmental incidents and propose corrective measures.
- Design and conduct environmental training sessions.
- Manage and update environmental databases.
- Conduct site inspections to assess environmental compliance.
- Possess a thorough understanding of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 standards.
- Hold relevant qualifications or substantial experience in Environmental Management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of digital construction methodologies.
- Be a certified environmental auditor.
- Exhibit experience in training and development.
- Show commercial insight and awareness.
