Job Summary

This vacancy is for 30 hours per week - 8:30am-3:30pm Monday - Friday supporting a child with visual impairment. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential as the person will be responsible for modifying work to make it accessible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a child with visual impairment on a 1-1 basis
  • Modify work to make it accessible using Microsoft Word
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, SEN team, and external advisors
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently
  • Have a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (C or above) and a high standard of written and spoken English
