About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Careers Lead to join our team at Dibden Park School. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for implementing and evaluating our Careers and Employability Strategy and education program.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive careers education program that meets the needs of our students and aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff, administrators, and external partners to ensure the effective delivery of careers education.
- Advise the senior leadership team on policy, strategy, and resources for career guidance and ensure that our program meets the necessary legislative requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our careers program and provide regular reports to senior leaders, regional advisors, and governors.
- Develop and implement a career guidance development plan and ensure that details of our careers program are published on our website.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in education and career guidance, including technical education reform.
Requirements
- Level 6 Careers Lead or CEIAG Qualification
- Experience in a similar role or working with young people in an advisory capacity
- Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of delivering results
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
- Coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to support and develop staff
