Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at SourceCo Recruitment. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle in a safe and professional manner
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Meet the required specifications for depot deliveries, including average shift times and daily vehicle checks
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner
Requirements:
  • HGV Class 1 Licence
  • 6 Months Class 1 experience is essential
  • Valid Digital tacho card
  • Valid CPC
  • Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD codes)
Working Conditions:
  • Start times can vary, but we are looking for Class 1 drivers who can start between 06:00 - 11:00 for day shifts, for night shifts
  • Pay rates: Day Rate £165 per day Monday-Friday, Weekends £180 per day; Night Rate £180 Per night Monday-Friday, Weekends £190 per night
