We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Technician to join our team at Irlam Associates. As a GSE Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining all types of GSE to ensure they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on GSE to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to out-of-hours maintenance requests and emergency service calls to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic assessments to identify and repair faults in GSE systems.
  • Modify and overhaul power plant, drivetrain, brake, electric, and hydraulic systems to ensure GSE is in good working condition.
  • Prepare and paint GSE to meet company branding policies and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Remove or make safe unserviceable GSE and ensure it is not returned to service until faults have been properly diagnosed and repaired.
  • Operate and drive all types of GSE, including motorized and non-motorized equipment.

Requirements:

  • Good level of mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
  • Flexible to work on various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a manual environment, with the ability to repeatedly lift.
