We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Technician to join our team at Irlam Associates. As a GSE Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining all types of GSE to ensure they are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on GSE to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to out-of-hours maintenance requests and emergency service calls to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic assessments to identify and repair faults in GSE systems.
- Modify and overhaul power plant, drivetrain, brake, electric, and hydraulic systems to ensure GSE is in good working condition.
- Prepare and paint GSE to meet company branding policies and maintain a professional appearance.
- Remove or make safe unserviceable GSE and ensure it is not returned to service until faults have been properly diagnosed and repaired.
- Operate and drive all types of GSE, including motorized and non-motorized equipment.
Requirements:
- Good level of mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
- Flexible to work on various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manual environment, with the ability to repeatedly lift.
