About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Disability Social Care 0-25 Service as a part-time Team Manager.

As the Team Manager of the Disabled Children's Referral & Access Team, you will be working closely with the Children with Disabilities Team and the Young Adults Team, as well as with in-house providers of short breaks, health and education professionals, and private and voluntary organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocating work and performance monitoring

  • Thinking on your feet in terms of case allocation and understanding thresholds
  • Thriving in a busy environment and demonstrating resilience
  • Prior experience and understanding of SEND, safeguarding background, and experience in managing risk

What We Offer

We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, safe, and supportive environment for our Social Workers and alternatively qualified staff. As a Team Manager in the Disabled Children's Referral & Access Team, you will be vital in providing this.

You will be working a set number of hours per week, with the ability to work from home as part of a hybrid model. This post will primarily be based out of our offices, but with the flexibility to work remotely.
