Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Paediatric Long-term Ventilation

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide a specialist clinical psychology service for children and young people with long-term ventilation needs.

About the Role

The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for working with children and young people through consultation, direct work, and attending multidisciplinary clinics. The role will involve providing clinical psychology services to children and young people with long-term ventilation needs, as well as providing training and supervision to other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist clinical psychology services to children and young people with long-term ventilation needs
  • Work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service
  • Provide training and supervision to other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of clinical psychology services within the trust
Requirements
  • Completed (or due to complete in 2024) post-graduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS
  • Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024)
  • Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS/HCPC
