The Apple Tree ward is a 30-bedded general medical and stroke rehabilitation ward, providing holistic patient-centered care to patients from diverse backgrounds and ages with various medical conditions.
Our team works closely with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care, and we strive to create a supportive and inclusive workplace where employees feel valued and empowered to excel in their roles.
Main Responsibilities- Work within a clinical team to provide high-quality care to patients in the ward, developing skills to look after patients who require acute care and discharge planning.
- Encourage patients to maintain and improve their mobility, working closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to achieve this goal.
- Generous annual leave entitlement, starting at 27 days and increasing to 29 days after five years of service and 33 days after 10 years of service, in addition to national Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff).
