Position: Psychological Specialist

Location: Regional Role / Home Based – East Midlands or Yorkshire

Compensation: Up to £60,000 per annum, full-time equivalent.

Employment Type: Permanent, Term Time only, 41 weeks (Part Time, Hours to be agreed)

We are seeking a qualified Psychological Specialist to join our dedicated team, contributing to tailored assessment and intervention strategies for the individuals we support. This diverse role is perfect for those eager to embrace a new challenge and make a meaningful difference in service delivery.

Role Overview

As part of a well-established clinical team, you will engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, collaborating with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Psychologists, and Therapy Assistants. Our clinical team is integrated within the educational framework, promoting effective collaboration with both educational and residential staff to enhance clinical outcomes for the individuals in our care. Outcomes First Group prioritizes clinical continuing professional development in the South Region, providing supervision and training opportunities to ensure evidence-based interventions.

Your work will align with our service policies and procedures, contributing to the ongoing development and quality assurance of our services.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate doctoral qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
  • Registered with the HCPC and BPS.
  • Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists.
  • Experience working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including those with complex needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and sensitive communication.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience with both adults and children.
  • Experience in teaching or training.
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Skills in data management, including collection and analysis for service delivery and development.
