About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Boden Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across our commercial sites in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive, and breakdown works to electrical bias systems, including emergency lighting, fire alarms, 1-3 phase equipment, fuse boards, switches, sockets, and more.
  • Work independently as a mobile engineer, covering commercial sites across Manchester, with occasional travel to Runcorn to work on sites in the area.
  • Perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of electrical maintenance services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 3 or City and Guilds in Electrical Installation.
  • Be certified in 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Have previous experience in a commercial FM role, preferably with a facilities management company.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be willing to travel to sites across Manchester and occasionally to Runcorn.
