Cyber Operations Manager

Be-IT Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Manager to oversee the security operations team and manage vulnerabilities for a prominent client in Glasgow.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of £65,000 - £79,000 for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of security professionals and outsourced MDR capabilities to respond to security alerts and manage vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and improve the cyber incident response plan, playbooks, and processes to enable the security operations team to react swiftly and effectively to incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
  • Plan and coordinate extensive security incident response, remediation, and recovery efforts involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation of daily and weekly security reports.
  • Manage vulnerability management and compliance scanning processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing security operations teams and managing vulnerabilities.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
