Job Title: Software Developer

Infinigate Cloud is seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join their innovative Digital Platforms team based in Fareham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering robust applications solutions, maintaining and improving the development applications portfolio, and staying up-to-date with the latest changes in the software development industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Discovery/Design:
    • Identify and prioritize partner/department requirements
    • Design a solution, creating design documents and program flow diagrams where necessary
  • Technical Delivery:
    • Write clean, efficient code based on the specifications
    • Keep work tickets up to date, taking part in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews where needed
    • Create unit tests to ensure resiliency and reduce errors produced by your code
  • Maintenance:
    • Investigate and triage bug reports
    • Debug code, identify issues, and deploy the required fixes
    • Add additional features to your solutions requested by users/departments in an iterative fashion

  • Remains calm and self-controlled under pressure, reacts well to change, and stays positive in the face of setbacks
  • Partner and customer solution-focused, taking ownership of issues through to resolution, with business analytical and commercial awareness
  • Excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient use of resources to maximize business outcomes
  • Confident and professional with excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of £44,000 - £49,000 per annum
  • 25 days annual leave rising to 28 days with length of service plus bank holidays
