About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal Engineer to join our Energy Transition team. As a key member of our Secondary Steel Design group, you will work on delivering innovative and complex design techniques in steel and composite materials for offshore wind turbines.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver secondary steel design work packages for Concept Design, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Designs.
  • Oversee the work of secondary steel engineers and CAD technicians in delivering high-quality design and documentation of secondary structural components.
  • Coordinate design output with the Project/Design Manager and other discipline Lead Engineers.
  • Perform analyses and optimisation of structural designs.
  • Present design methods and results at client and certifying agent meetings.
  • Ensure designs are optimised to fulfil the latest safety requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers in the applied methods and processes.
  • Contribute to Ramboll's technical development in the field of secondary steel design.

About You

We are looking for a highly qualified engineer with a Master's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a focus on the design of offshore structures. You should have a track record of applying structural engineering principles to produce efficient designs and experience with coordinating designs with other disciplines and stakeholders.
