Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Governance
    • Provide effective leadership and monitoring of professional and care standards at ward level.
    • Be a visible and accessible presence in the clinical area for patients, relatives, and staff.
  • Patient Care
    • Ensure the provision of compassionate, safe, and high-quality patient care.
    • Lead by example and act as a positive role model to staff, taking responsibility for own professional development.
  • Team Management
    • Manage roster allocation for present and future shifts to provide safe staffing levels.
    • Lead the multidisciplinary team on a daily basis, using resources effectively and efficiently.
