We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our Back Office IT department at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for guiding two DevOps squads, ensuring seamless operations and robust technological solutions.
You will collaborate with users and team members distributed across various locations to deliver high-impact projects that support our global operations.
Key Responsibilities- Learn the insights of energy trading and relevant business processes to understand our business requirements and communicate them clearly to your IT colleagues.
- Create a lighthouse of open and transparent communication and prioritisation with stakeholders on all levels to ensure the greatest possible value is achieved in a sustainable way.
- Analyse and challenge existing Back Office processes and create creative ideas for solutions by taking the company goals and vision into account.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other IT teams to build sustainable interfaces to exchange data and enable E2E processing.
We are looking for a candidate with a University Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, and at least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in product management, with experience in Agile methodologies / frameworks.
Proven experience leading and managing software development teams, with the ability to mentor team members and enforce best practices. Proficient in both German and English.
Excellent organisational skills, time management, and the ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions.
