Senior Python Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer to join our team at Sataya. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our AI-driven SAAS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of our Python-based SAAS platform using Django and ORM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design and implement robust and scalable solutions using TDD, BDD, DDD, and OOP principles.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with our AI/ML team to integrate machine learning models into our platform.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Ensure timely project delivery, managing resources and commercial impact of engineering decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development using Python, Django, and ORM.
  • Proven experience in a startup environment, with at least 2 years of experience leading a B2B tech startup as a technical manager.
  • Strong technical skills in Python, Django, AI, Vue.js, API, Microservices, AWS, UAT, OOD, CI/CD, Octopus Deploy, and JEST.
  • Agile methodology: Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a comfort level with decision-making and working under uncertainty.
  • Project management: Experience owning project management, including resource allocation and understanding the commercial impact of engineering decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both to tech and non-tech stakeholders.
