About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with daily living tasks
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Conduct light housekeeping and laundry tasks
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social events
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care is not necessary, as we provide comprehensive training
  • Valid driving license and access to a car for client transportation
  • Ability to work a combination of morning and evening shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
