We are seeking a visionary Senior Manager, Below Ground Data, Capacity & Insight to lead our team in revolutionizing how we manage and utilize data within our below ground operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the delivery of essential water services to millions of customers across London, Thames Valley, and the Home Counties.
As a key member of the Operations Data, Capacity & Insight function, you will have direct influence over the development and direction of our data strategy. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of how we plan, execute, and optimize our below ground infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities:- Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team: Guide, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ managers and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Develop and Execute Data Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with Thames Water's strategic objectives, focusing on below ground operations efficiency, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
- Drive Data-Informed Decision Making: Leverage advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to provide actionable insights to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology adoption to enhance data management capabilities and drive operational efficiency.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader with a proven track record in data strategy, analytics, and team management within the infrastructure or utilities sector.
- Extensive experience leading and developing high-performing data teams.
- Deep understanding of data management principles, best practices, and emerging technologies.
