Job Title: Mechanical Services Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Mechanical Services Supervisor to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our pump services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Provide high levels of customer service and communication at all times, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.
  2. Document Control: Maintain job packs to ensure document control is in line with our quality processes, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency in our operations.
  3. Operations Support: Support the planning and coordination of the daily operations of the pump repair department, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and order new parts as needed, minimizing downtime and optimizing our resources.
  5. Work Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor work in progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our processes.
  6. Quotations and Reporting: Provide concise, written quotations to customers and prepare reports and other documentation as required, ensuring that our communication is clear and effective.
  7. Forecasting: Support the monthly forecasting of sales, helping us to plan and prepare for future growth and development.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of various types of rotating equipment, excellent organizational and communication skills, knowledge of safety standards, IT literacy, and administrative competence.
  2. Qualifications: GCSE or equivalent.
