Your Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to meet performance goals and personal development objectives aligned with our operational strategy.
- Champion safety and environmental excellence by implementing the site's safety improvement initiatives.
- Manage financial responsibilities within your area, including forecasting, budgeting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the management and technical specifications of all contracts handled by your team.
- Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Hold line responsibility for all designated roles within your team.
- Prepare and present a comprehensive three-year business plan, including an activity-based budget that aligns with our strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the PT-Risk database by identifying and assessing new and existing risks.
- Assume delegated responsibilities of the Engineering and/or Production Manager during their absence and contribute to the strategic direction of the organization.
Your Profile
Essential Qualifications:
• HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline with Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status.
• NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent, with a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Extensive experience in contract management.
• Financial acumen related to managing multiple budgets and financial oversight.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory and market conditions.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into clear team goals and targets.
• Excellent communication and performance management skills to effectively motivate and guide team members.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Completion of a leadership or business management course.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for effective resource management and strategic focus.
• Ability to analyze situations, isolate key issues, and draw relevant conclusions.
• Proven people management and leadership skills to foster positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
