Digital Risk and Controls Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Risk and Controls Consultant to join our Digital Platforms and SEO team at Nationwide Building Society.
As a Digital Risk and Controls Consultant, you will be responsible for managing risk and controls across multiple squads within the team, ensuring that our digital platforms and services meet the highest standards of governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Online Sales Risk Control process, ensuring that pages are reviewed and updated regularly by the squads.
- Run Consumer Duty and Understanding control processes for Digital Platforms and SEO, coordinating collaboration across other elements of the digital estate.
- Ensure Accessibility accreditation and compliance processes are established and followed.
- Manage processes with suppliers, including quarterly business reviews and RFPs.
- Horizon scan to identify and manage potential future risks, implementing controls to mitigate where necessary.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in digital risk and controls, with experience working in a large complex organization with tight regulation and a focus on risk controls and mitigations.
You will have a proven track record of managing risk and controls, with a deep understanding of Consumer Duty, Vulnerability, and Understanding within financial services.
You will be able to work effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver business value while balancing regulatory requirements, propositions, commercial, and consumer benefits.
