Sustainability Manager Job Description

Reed is partnering with an international professional services firm to recruit a Sustainability Manager for a full-time, permanent position in Bristol.

This role will lead the development and implementation of the firm's Sustainability strategy across all offices globally, promoting a culture of environmental responsibility and social accountability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability and environmental management, with experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the firm's Sustainability strategy, aligning with global best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability practices across the business, ensuring a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Communicate the Sustainability strategy and progress to stakeholders, including employees, clients, and external partners.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, preparing reports and presentations to support business decisions.
  • Support sustainability committees and champions within the business, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sustainability and environmental management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables within tight timeframes.
  • Awareness of the climate change and sustainability agenda, with a strong understanding of its relevance to the firm.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of delivering high levels of client service.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
