Rainham Steel, a leading steel stockholder in the UK, is currently looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team.

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the efficient operation of our cutting and bending facility, ensuring that all processes meet quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in manual labor tasks, including the lifting and handling of steel reinforcement rods.
  • Report directly to the operations manager.
  • Receive comprehensive training in the cutting and bending of reinforcing rods.
  • Operate Re-Bar bending machinery.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain and service machinery as required.
  • Follow Health and Safety regulations diligently.
