Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As an EMC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our systems and products meet the required electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct EMC testing and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop EMC-compliant systems
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address EMC-related issues
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams on EMC-related matters
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in EMC testing and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of IT and MS Office
  • Proven experience in technical reporting and documentation
  • Knowledge of EMC Defence Standards is an advantage

Working within the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Team in Engineering, you will be responsible for providing support to the Project Leader or Principal Engineer providing transversal support to engineering delivery teams and undertaking specialist testing of systems, sub systems and components in support of achieving contractual compliance for EMC design. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
