Job Title: Principal Solution Architect

Role Purpose

The Principal Solution Architect will be responsible for ensuring that solutions align with the relevant technology and capability roadmaps, and that transformation projects deliver the business and technology strategies. You will influence business and technology stakeholders to adopt strategic technology solutions and guide technology projects through the Technology Assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into detailed solution architecture designs
  • Ensure alignment with technology and capability roadmaps
  • Influence business and technology stakeholders to adopt strategic technology solutions
  • Guide technology projects through the Technology Assurance processes
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge, including current and emerging technology market trends
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of KPMG's technology ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of relevant technology-specific domains
Requirements
  • Extensive solution architecture experience
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of at least one technology domain
  • Good knowledge of EA governance and technical debt
  • Demonstrable experience as a software engineer or architect
