Operational Programme Manager for Living Well Programme

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the coordination and operational delivery of the Living Well Programme in Wigan. The successful candidate will work closely with key colleagues and partners across Wigan, as well as the GMMH Community Transformation Core Team and the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Living Well Programme Milestones to support the achievement of objectives.
- Lead on specific work within the programme and support senior leaders and the GMMH Community Transformation Core Team as necessary.
- Develop, project manage, and successfully deliver complex programmes with multiple work streams.
- Take direct responsibility for the successful delivery of all elements to agreed timescales, within an agreed budget, and ensuring safe high-quality services with defined outcomes.
GMMH is a leading provider of mental health services in Greater Manchester, employing over 6,400 staff across more than 160 locations. We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Trafford, and Wigan, as well as specialist services across Greater Manchester and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both health and social care, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex programmes. They will also have experience of commissioning, performance managing, contract managing, and evaluating health and social care services, as well as a working knowledge of financial processes.
The candidate will be able to develop and implement programme schedules that clearly define the timeline and outcomes required, and will have the ability to define and articulate a strong sense of purpose and engender commitment across individuals and groups to a set of shared objectives.
They will also be an effective organiser, influencer, and networker, with a proven ability to complete and finish tasks.
