Job Opportunity: HGV 1 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV 1 driver to join our team at Search Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, carrying out vehicle inspections, and ensuring all loads are secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles for multiple clients
  • Conducting regular vehicle inspections and reporting any faults
  • Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
  • Delivering to various stores and working with depot staff to quickly turnaround for return journeys

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • Have at least one year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • Hold a valid CPC & Digi Card
  • No more than six points for minor infringements due to insurance
  • No major endorsements
  • Good communication skills
