Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of financial tasks.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring our company remains compliant.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' work experience as a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong experience with financial reporting, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
