Job Summary

Challenge-trg Group is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to telephone communication sites and stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver goods to telephone communication sites and stores
  • Use a hand-held scanning terminal to scan labels on cages, pallets, etc.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including handballing of items
  • Work a variety of shift patterns, including Monday to Friday
  • Attend a full day's assessment
Requirements
  • A valid Class 2 HGV licence
  • A valid Driver CPC card
  • A digital tachograph card
  • A full understanding of WTD legislation
  • Reliable and excellent time-keeping
  • Flexible with start times and working days
What We Offer
  • Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours
  • Hourly pay rate of £18.04
  • Overtime rate of £27.06
  • 24-hour assistance night operation team
