Job Description

East Ayrshire Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Studies Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering an innovative and creative curriculum that aligns with the Education Plan and Community Plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to inform teaching and learning practices

• Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Business Studies education

Requirements

• A degree in Business Studies or a related field

• Proven experience in teaching and curriculum development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Working Conditions

• This is a temporary full-time post based at Robert Burns Academy (Barony Campus), Cumnock

• The hours of work will be 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday and at the direction of the Line Manager

• The full-time salary of this post is between £38,000 - £48,000 per annum
