Job Specifications:

  • Position: Field-Based Electrical Engineer
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
  • Service Area: Commercial properties in Hertfordshire
  • Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
  • On-Call Duty: 1 in 10 rotation with a standby remuneration of £100

Qualifications:

  • Relevant certification required (NVQ, City & Guilds, BEng, HND, etc.)
  • Familiarity with essential electrical systems (UPS, Lighting, Alarm Systems, HVAC, Generators, 3 Phase Motors, etc.)
  • Ability to clear an Enhanced DBS check
  • Demonstrated experience as a Field-Based Electrical Engineer
  • Strong technical abilities with the capability to diagnose and fix electrical systems in commercial environments

  • On-call remuneration: £100 standby payment plus 4 hours pay for the initial call-out within each 24-hour timeframe
  • Overtime compensation:
  • Saturdays: 1.5x for the first 4 hours, then double time

  • Bank Holidays: Day off in lieu if on call
  • Annual Leave: 25 days
