About the Role

Futures Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our process development team, you will play a critical role in the development, optimization, and implementation of food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development and Optimization: Lead the development and optimization of food manufacturing processes from concept to launch, ensuring scalability and feasibility for production.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of 4 Process Development Technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of new processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and technical reports.
  • Process Performance Analysis: Analyze process performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience within a Process/NPD role with a great knowledge of Food manufacturing.
  • People Management: People management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • NPD Experience: Experience meeting the NPD needs of large retailers.
