Senior SACT Nurse Opportunity at GenesisCare UK

At GenesisCare UK, we're committed to delivering exceptional cancer care to our patients. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SACT Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre in Bristol.

The Role:

As a Senior SACT Nurse, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality chemotherapy nursing services to patients within the unit. You'll also provide clinical leadership and support to our team, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure continuity of high-standard evidence-based nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
  • Work autonomously, providing clinical leadership and ensuring that all patients have an accurate plan of care.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, central venous catheter management, venepuncture, and chemotherapy delivery.
Requirements:
  • Experience in intravenous drug administration and chemotherapy administration.
  • Sufficient post-registration nursing experience in oncology or a related specialty.
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably under pressure.
  • Ability to make decisions, organise, and prioritise.
  • UKONS SACT Passport or willingness to complete within three months of appointment.
