We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Process Operator to join our team at Stepan Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of chemical plant equipment, following detailed process instructions, and participating in process and EHS improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Operate chemical plant equipment to produce high-quality products
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Audit work areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- FLT Licence or experience operating a counterbalance
- Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing setting is beneficial but not required
- Basic computer skills (SAP an added bonus)
- Ability to read and interpret SOP's and COP's
- Strong attention to detail and physical dexterity
