Public Health Director

PHMC is a leader in public health, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Public Health Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of community-based interventions aimed at reducing food insecurity and promoting healthy food access for children and families in the Turning Points for Children service areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct supervision to Site Coordinators and other staff as assigned.
- Maintain, grow, and oversee community engagement activities.
- Plan, review, and evaluate operating policies, practices, and procedures for FAWN.
- Develop and oversee implementation of adjunctive community-based programs aimed at reducing food insecurity and promoting healthy food access.
- Work with senior leaders to cultivate relationships with subcontracted agencies providing relevant community-based and prevention programs.
- Use program outcome data to drive and improve program implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with new evidence-based practices and assist in evaluating programs for potential use.
- Participate in grant-writing and resource development activities.
- Develop and sustain collaborative partnerships with community agencies and city and state departments.
- Recruit volunteers and interns from local schools and organizations.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in management or administration of a social service or hunger relief program.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or a related field.
- Full-time schedule.
- 4-year degree required.
