Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our school-based team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating needs-led and evidence-based group and individual programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify service users' needs and develop personalized plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services that meet the academic, therapeutic, and vocational needs of our students.
- Develop and implement group and individual programmes that promote social, emotional, and mental health well-being.
- Work closely with residential therapy teams to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in occupational therapy.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong background in working with young people with Autism and Mental Health.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services.
