Robert Walters is seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Consultant to join their Supply Chain and Engineering team in Birmingham. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment life cycle, from candidate generation and sourcing to new business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients across the Supply Chain and Engineering sectors, providing expert recruitment advice and delivering high-quality candidates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Source and attract top talent in the Supply Chain and Engineering sectors, utilizing a range of recruitment channels and techniques.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new clients.
- Conduct thorough interviews with candidates, assessing their skills and experience, and presenting them to clients in a professional and engaging manner.
- Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of their recruitment campaigns, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the service.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that recruitment strategies are aligned with the latest best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in the Supply Chain and Engineering sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
