Reach/FLT Truck Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reach/FLT Truck Operative to join our team in West Hallam, DE7 6HE. As a Reach/FLT Truck Operative, you will be responsible for operating a Reach truck or Counterbalance Forklift to move materials around the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating a Reach truck or Forklift to transport goods
  • Picking and packing items for distribution
  • Using a handheld scanner to sort items
  • Manual lifting (up to 23 KG)
  • Unloading containers
  • Boxing items on re-work lines
  • Wrapping and Unwrapping Pallets
Requirements:
  • Past experience operating Reach truck or Counterbalance fork lift, Expired or in date licence holders
  • Ability to perform general labouring duties
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adherence to strict Health and Safety standards
What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay rate of £13.37 per hour, with overtime after 37.5 hours
  • Rotating shifts (06:00am until 14:00pm & 14:00pm until 22:00pm), offering flexibility and work-life balance
  • Premium rate for overtime
  • Temp to perm opportunities
  • Immediate starts available
  • Weekly pay every Friday
  • Up to 33 paid holiday days per year (pro-rata)
